About the job 

A Financial Data Analyst leverages and manages data that is consumed by the world’s most elite financial institutions by applying structured thinking and leveraging technology. The scope ranges across the full data lifecycle, from acquisition, normalization, consolidation, validation, remediation, preparation and distribution of data about instruments, legal entities, corporate actions, prices, quantitative data structures (curves, volatility surfaces, correlation matrixes, etc.) and common reference data such as calendars, countries, etc.

What you’ll do

  • Manage and maintain comprehensive financial market data across key domains—including instrument data, corporate actions, pricing, legal entities, valuation structures, and common reference data—serving over 500 TS Imagine clients globally.
  • Improve and monitor data quality frameworks that track data quality dimensions; proactively flag exceptions and collaborate with stakeholders to resolve anomalies
  • Work closely with internal product, engineering, and support teams as well as external data providers and clients, to validate data flows, troubleshoot issues, and ensure seamless integration of data within our product offerings
  • Analyze recurring data issues, propose targeted remediation strategies, and drive automation of manual workflows to prevent future defects and enhance operational efficiency

You should have

  • SQL proficiency and Python for data analysis
  • Strong knowledge in Microsoft office tools including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Basic understanding of financial instruments and markets (equities, bonds, derivatives)
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Organized with the ability to function in a multitasking environment
